いつもは日外アソシエーツ発行の辞書をご紹介しているコーナーですが、今回は、「Collins コウビルド英英辞典 改訂第５版」の入荷を記念しまして、その魅力をご紹介します。 コウビルド英英辞典は、語彙の定義方法に特長があります。例えば、"invest"（投資する）を見てみましょう。定義は５つありますが、そのうちの３つを取り上げます。
1) If you invest in something, or if you invest a sum of money, you use your money in a way that you hope will increase its value, for example by paying it into a bank, or buying shares or property.
